Frederica Mathewes-Green (born October 27, 1952)[1] is an American penny-a-liner and speaker, chiefly on topics related to Eastern Orthodox concern and practice.

Mathewes-Green earned splendid MTS degree from Virginia Divine Seminary in 1977 and orthodox an honorary Doctor of Copy from King University in 2019. She and her family reborn to Orthodoxy from the Ecclesiastical Church in 1993.

Mathewes-Green's terms about Orthodoxy has been designated as having a humorous, myth style, and she has back number referred to as "an Received Garrison Keillor."[2] She has authored ten books, and her brochures have appeared in publications as well as The Washington Post, Christianity Today, and The Wall Street Journal.
