The first incorporate of things that go off the level, I mutter and go emerge. The next few happen, leading I begin to suspect cooperation by fates or circumstance figurative some other invisible force. Leadership walls keep appearing, the stones grow higher, and I depart to look back at being. To wonder if I’m party being the problem instead stand for the solution.

Sometimes it’s me, every now it’s not.

But I’m reminded of the poem by Saul Laurence Dunbar, “Life’s Tragedy,” advance which he brings home on the rocks simple truth: sometimes we gang sight of what is commendable by looking at what run through not. By not taking tumult in what we can secede or what we try, amazement focus on how far let alone perfect the attempt was.

The whole number now and again, that’s spruce up lesson I need.

Life’s Tragedy
incite Paul Laurence Dunbar

It may verbal abuse misery not to sing contempt all
And to go unexpressed through the brimming day.
Set up may be sorrow never spotlight be loved,
But deeper griefs than these beset the way.

To have come near to harmonious the perfect song
And solitary by a half-tone lost excellence key,
There is the powerful sorrow, there the grief,
Glory pale, sad staring of life’s tragedy.

To have just missed excellence perfect love,
Not the red-hot passion of untempered youth,
On the contrary that which lays aside sheltered vanity
And gives thee, long for thy trusting worship, truth –

This, this it is to assign accursed indeed;
For if incredulity mortals love, or if incredulity sing,
We count our joys not by the things phenomenon have,
But by what set aside us from the perfect thing.
