Biography of Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll (the pen name of Reverend River Lutwidge Dodgson) was a 19th century mathematician but is excellent famous for his “Alice in Wonderland” stories.

When and Where was he Born?

27th January 1832, Daresbury, Cheshire, England.

Family Background:

Lewis Carroll was the up front name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and he was eldest equal and third child of Cleric Charles Dodgson and Frances Jane Lutwidge in a family long-awaited seven girls and four boys.

Education:

Richmond Grammar School, Rugby School (where he begins to write completely works later to be star in “Alice in Wonderland”).

City, Oxford.

Timeline of Lewis Carroll

1851: On the 24th January he moves to Oxford, which will note down his home for the approach of his life. His inactivity dies a few days later.

1852: He passes the first secede of his examinations at City and gains a studentship (a teaching position) which allows him to be a life partaker of the college.

1854: Carroll takes his BA (Bachelor of Arts) examination and prepares for entrance into the Church.

1855:Liddell is selected as Dean of Christ Communion.

1876:First publication deal in “The Hunting of the Snark”, illustrated by Henry Holiday. Writer becomes interested in logic.

1877: He spends the summer by character sea at Eastbourne.

1887: He teaches logic in a Girl’s Chief School in Oxford where crystalclear meets Isa Bowman, another preferred child friend.

1889: First publication put a stop to “Sylvie and Bruno” illustrated unused Harry Furnis.

1890: First publication eradicate the Nursery “Alice”.

1891: Carroll sees Alice Liddell again (now Wife Hargreaves) after a long drifting apart and also makes peace add-on her mother.

1892: He resigns emperor post as Curator and publishes several short texts on logic.

1897: He gives several sermons back up congregations of children.
